Ethics and Responsible Use Policy

Purpose and commitment

NicoChat bases its organizational culture on ethical principles of Christian foundation, recognizing that technology must be used in an edifying and just manner, directed to the common good.

We believe that innovation and morality go together, and that the ethical use of artificial intelligence is essential to generate a positive and lasting impact on society.

Guiding principles

NicoChat adopts the following principles as the basis of its institutional conduct:

• Integrity — to act with truth, consistency and uprightness in all circumstances, reflecting the character and values that sustain trust.
• Excellence — to carry out each task with dedication and purpose, always seeking to deliver the best as an expression of honor and responsibility.
• Service — to place people at the center of our actions, using technology as an instrument of support, solution and edification.
• Justice — to adopt balanced and ethical decisions, treating everyone with impartiality, respect and dignity.
• Stewardship — to administer resources, talents and opportunities with wisdom, recognizing that everything we do must bear good and lasting fruit.
• Purpose — to use artificial intelligence and automation to promote what is good, strengthen human relationships and contribute to a society that is more upright and more hopeful.

Prohibited conduct

NicoChat expressly prohibits the use of its platform, products or integrations for purposes that run counter to the ethical, legal or moral principles that sustain this Policy. The following practices are considered inappropriate and subject to sanction:

1. Use of the system to promote, advertise or automate betting, “bet signals”, casinos, games of chance or related activities, even where legalized, in any context or for any purpose, including educational, demonstrative, informational or recreational actions, as well as any content that references, mentions or simulates such activities.
2. Use of the system in fraud, financial pyramids, deceptive practices, manipulation of information or abusive marketing.
3. Use of NicoChat to generate, host or distribute pornographic, erotic or obscene content, or content that exploits human sexuality improperly.
4. Creation of automations aimed at discrimination, hate speech, defamation, or religious, racial or political intolerance.
5. Manipulation or improper use of personal data in non-compliance with the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (Brazil’s General Personal Data Protection Law), Lei nº 13.709/2018, and other applicable legislation.
6. Use of the system to mislead third parties, exploit vulnerabilities or carry out acts that offend good faith, truth and integrity in human and commercial relationships.

Users’ responsibility

NicoChat clients and users are fully responsible for the automations, communications and content they produce, store or distribute through the platform.

It is incumbent upon each user to:

• Ensure that their applications comply with this Policy and with the legislation in force;
• Maintain standards of communication based on truthfulness and respect;
• Employ the platform’s features in a constructive and socially responsible manner;
• Answer civilly, administratively and morally for any infringements arising from improper use.

Enforcement and monitoring

NicoChat reserves the right to carry out audits, reviews and analyses of the use of its tools, in order to prevent, identify and correct practices incompatible with this Policy.

The company may suspend or terminate accounts whose use:

• Runs counter to the ethical values or principles of this Policy;
• Negatively affects NicoChat’s institutional image;
• Represents a moral, legal or reputational risk to the company, even where the conduct does not constitute formal illegality.

These measures are preventive in nature and are intended to safeguard the integrity of the platform’s ecosystem.

Ethics channel

NicoChat’s Ethics Channel is the official means for communicating questions, reports or complaints related to compliance with this Policy. Submissions will be examined confidentially, impartially and respectfully.

NicoChat undertakes to keep the information received confidential and to handle each case with prudence, discernment and justice, in accordance with the values that govern its institutional activity.

Revisions and updates

This Policy may be updated periodically to reflect technological advances, legal changes or improvements in corporate governance. The most recent version will always be made available on NicoChat’s official website.

Continued use of the platform implies agreement with the version in force.

Declaration of principles

NicoChat recognizes that ethics and faith are inseparable in the conduct of any human activity. It therefore reaffirms its commitment to act in accordance with the values of honesty, service, responsibility and excellence, seeking to glorify God through each project and relationship established.
